Says needs update but I am up to date

News article says I need the latest update. Settings says I am up to date. What can I do? What is the truth?

Tags appended to your post suggest you are using

an iPad mini with iOS 9 installed. If you cannot update

the iOS version, the cause is that your iPad mini is

too old and does not have the hardware to install a

later version.


Settings>General>About>Model.

You may have to scroll to see the entry for Model.
