I use Apple's Preview to make PDFs on my V600 scanner. Lately, after I scan a document it takes up to a minute to show it. I've cleared the cache files; run CleanMyMac; and restarted the MacBook Pro with the same problem. I'm running Ventura 13.6.4 on a 3.1 GHz Dual-Core Intel Core i5 13-inch MacBook Pro.

Hi. Apparently it wasn't the drivers. The same thing happened when they were updated: very slow (65 seconds) appearance of the scan. I looked at the preferences for Preview. "Unsharp Mask" was set to "High" and so was "Dust Removal." I seriously don't recall making those changes. After selecting "None" in both of those drop downs everything is once again speedy. First order of business is to get rid of CleanMyMac. It has history of creating more problems than it solves.
Also, have you updated your V600 drivers for Ventura? There are versions of both the Epson driver and the Epson ICA driver for Ventura.
