Using Mail 16.0 offline.

MacBook Pro, OS Sonoma 14.2.1, program Mail 16.0.

I travel with my MacBook often and need to connect to web, download then disconnect and be able to read and access those Emails. I find that Mail is only loading headers not the body of emails. The server is Exchange using IMAP. In Mail Gmail or Yahoo also using IMAP download the body and keep in on the local HD as expected".

What setting will force Mail to download the entire message? I need the body of the email to be downloaded and stored on my system for offline use. This seems like a basic feature quite intuitive and desirable for functionality on a device that is portable.
