How can I update my MacBook Air 2013 to macOS 12?

I purchased the new Microsoft 365 and it want upload because I need a macOS 12 version or better. not sure what app to use for this

A 2013 MacBook Air can update to macOS 11 Big Sur, but no further. So it cannot run the current version of Microsoft Office 365.


You can use Apple's own Pages, numbers and Keynote if you have them installed (new versions won't work on anything earlier than macOS 13 either)


Or a third party alternative such as Libre Office.
