I finally found the answer . The error was caused by the formatting of the figures in B as you can see when comparing the foto’s. Separating the thousants by point, or komma…There seems to be really a fault in the programme. Many thanks for your interest. Walter
I can't spot where things may have gone wrong. Your formula seems to capture just the -524,78 -25,00 and -105,00.
It looks as if you might have merged some cells at some point (I see no border, for example, in rows 68:70 for columns A and B). Merging can cause strange behavior in some calculations. I suggest unmerging any merged cells in the table, reentering the values in B63:B70 and reentering the SUM formula in D70.
SG
I generally avoid merged cells wherever I can.
Have you tried reentering the data in B63:B70 and the SUM formula?
If the data in B63:B70 comes from formulas referring to other cells then you might want to check those cells to make sure they are all Numbers.
SG
Thanks. I checked and found all the cells in rows and columns A and B split. ..or do you advise to check the whole sheet on merged cells?
