Pairing a Bose Soundlink Micro with a Mac Pro

I believe I have discovered a serious design flaw between the Bose Soundlink Micro and a Mac Pro, and I am writing to see if anyone else has seen this issue and if they know of a fix.

Using bluetooth, my Mac Pro (running Ventura 13.6.3) can see my brand new (fresh out of the box) Bose Soundlink Micro and it does attempt to pair with it using Bluetooth, but the pairing fails on every attempt.

I am familiar with Bluetooth and I have watched the Bose tutorials on how to pair their speaker with a Mac. Further, the Bose speaker does pair with my iphone, and the Mac does pair with a multitude of different devices and speakers that I own. However, this particular Bose Soundlink Micro is unable to pair with my Mac.

I truly believe there is a software incompatability issue that needs to be addressed by both companies - Apple and Bose. It would be appreciated if someone could devise a fix and inform me of what I need to do to resolve this issue. I bought the Bose speaker with the intent to pair it with my Mac but this is not possible. Thank you
