Auto Reply Text Message Driving Mode NEVER sends

Hi

No mater which iPhone I try I can never get auto reply with text message to work. I have searched for 1 month trying everything thats out there even spoke to Apple support and they were useless. Any help or advice would be very gratefully received.

I have tried an iPhone 15 pro, 14 pro and 13 pro 17.2.1 no joy

iPhone X 16.7.4 no joy.

Auto Reply will work only when you Driving Focus is turned ON (Manually or Autmatically)

Turn on Driving Focus automatically

Go to Settings > Focus, then tap Driving.
Tap While Driving under Turn on Automatically, then select one of these options:

- Automatically: Driving will be activated based on detected motion.
- When Connected to Car Bluetooth: Driving will be activated when your iPhone is connected to a car's Bluetooth systems.
- Manually: Driving can be activated manually from Control Centre.
- Activate With CarPlay: Driving will be activated automatically when your iPhone is connected to CarPlay.

Hi, thanks for the reply i have done all of that in various forms. The one I have been testing because of ease is the manual setting. When I send a test message it is just received as a normal text message and no auto reply is sent. I have noticed lots of other iPhone users having the same issues.

I have just been out to the car and tried all the options available and nothing again is anyone else having the same issues?
