Transfer songs from one account to another

Hi ! I have two Apple ID accounts in different regions and each have purchased music from the iTunes Store. If I physically transfer a song file from one account to another via Finder, will it be legal ?

You can copy the physical files from one user account to the other and use them as you please.

You cannot transfer purchases from one Apple ID account to another. That said any Apple devices are limited to holding protected content from up to five different Apple IDs as long as the computer transferring the purchase is authorized for the Apple IDs in question. Any unprotected content, which should include all music purchased from the iTunes Store since 2009, is not subject to such restrictions.

If you have an Apple Music or iTunes Match subscription then the iCloud Music Library associated with the subscription will only accept content from that Apple ID. Purchased or protected content from other IDs will be excluded. Purchased media can be converted to new tracks with a small potential loss of quality to make files that can be added to the cloud library.

See also Authorization vs. association - Apple Community. There are issues with downloading content from multiple IDs. Because two different countries are involved you won't be able to use the file sharing workaround.
