Apple ID password always wrong

This is on iPhone iOS 17.1.2. Many people have reported this and Apple seems to be denying it, trying to say we are logged into the wrong account or something is wrong with the app requesting the password. It is an Apple bug they refuse to fix. Enough for me to quit Apple after 40 years with them
