Turning off iCloud Photo Sync
If I turn iCloud Syncing off will it delete all the photos off my device?
I logged in and out of my Apple ID that I share to try to fix another issue.
When I logged back in, my iCloud Photo Sync that was previously turn off was toggled on. I went to turn it off. It told me all my pictures would delete if I did. I panicked and turned it off from my photos instead and got no message. I had download and keep originals on too. It was turned on for less than an hour and I’m not sure if any photos even made it on there. I looked on iCloud and there was a ton of old pictures from years ago on there, some that aren’t on my phone either. I have over 100,000 photos of important moments such as my children’s births, vacations, graduations, prom, etc. I’m very concerned that they will delete and delete in 30 days like the message that popped up said.
Are all the photos on my device safe? Will they delete?
