Garageband wont recognize my iRIG HD 2

Hello, i am using Apple M1, Sonoma 14.2, when i plugged in iRig HD 2, the light is dark blue which means that iRig HD 2 is connected and in standby mode. But in Garageband i cannot use it as input device since it doesnt give me that option.

PLEASE HELP WHAT TO DO TO MAKE IT WORK!!

GarageBand recording audio cuts out above certain decibel When recording audio on Garageband, it doesn't record audio above a certain decibel. I've tried resetting controls and I can record audio through the same equipment for other apps with no issues. It's just an issue on GarageBand. I don't know how to fix this. Garageband sees inputs but has not sound and wont ask for permission. Banging my head against the wall here. 2014 mini with Monterey, no mics will work, not audio interfaces nothing. Garageband sees them, I can select them, but it does not see the actual input signal from them. The system it self sees them and shows the input, audacity works fine and everything from a rocksmith usb cable to my cheapest jank mic works fine. Just not in garage band. I went and installed 10.13 and installed a legacy version and it Garageband works great. Once upgraded back to Monterey though that same legacy version of garage band is back to not actually seeing the input signal. I haven't tried using OCLP to take it to Ventura to see if I still have the problem. If there is no fix I guess I'll just install Catalina. I literally only use this thing for Garageband.
