Transferring files from Chromebook to Mac mini

I have been a Chrome user for a few years and I recently bought a Mac mini and I want to move my files from my Chromebook to my Mac but I am having problems figuring how to do that. I am planning on using my Mac full time now. What is the easies way to do move them? If you can help then I need step by step instructions please.

Another method to transfer files between the two is to use Google Drive. Just download the Google Drive app for the Mac log in with your Google credentials and then transfer as you wish (assuming that Google Drive is set up on the Chromebook which I would think you don't really have any choice but to set t up). If a lot of your docs are already on Google Drive, you don't even have to keep them locally on your Mac just leave them on Google Drive and then download when needed.

I would go teaditional : transfer your files to an external drive. Then recopy to My Documents on the mac.

your external drive can be formetred Ex-FAT so the nac can access it.

Unsure if Chromebook can use an app such as HFS+ to allow reading a mac formatted external drive - but that is also another option so tour external drive could be directly fornatted for the maxc.

These are 2 possible paths.

Idea here is you need to transfer data, not apps
