When I try to open Time Machine it turns my screen black and will not open, Apple time machine engineers have been work on it for 6 months with no results. Any ideas? Thanks

I'm sorry, I don't have a solution. If Apple's engineers can't fix it, you might be better off to just use another backup app such as Carbon Copy Cloner. It seems to be free of the many problems that plague Time Machine and it has more useful features.
