I cannot remember my password to open my MacBook Air 2017 13 in screen MacBook ?

I cannot open Safari or anything on my MacBook because I set up a password to be Able to secure my info and now I e forgotten the password and cannot open MacBook or even utilize it until I can get past the enter password box and tried like 50 failed attempts
