How to Roll Back iTunes Version

I have a Microsoft Surface Pro 7 and had no problems synchronizing my iPhone SE until late December 2023. It stops at Step 3 of 5 and does not finish. I have tried using a cable and through wifi. I have rebooted often before trying to sync, I have closed any background apps. I have 13 GB available on the iPhone and 32 GB available on Surface. How can I get syncing to complete?

You uninstall your current copy of iTunes, then install the most recent version that worked for you without issue. See the very bottom of Troubleshooting issues with iTunes for Windows update - Apple Community for links to recent builds. Advice on uninstalling is given nearer the top.
