My daughter has an Iphone XR. Just did the last update IOS 17.2.
Before the update and currently. Screen freezes often (getting worse) and the Apps are opening by themselves and items clicked like someone else is driving the phone. Getting to a point were she cannot use her phone much.
Any ideas what is going wrong and how to fix it?

That’s a touch screen failure informally called Ghost Touch.

Phone clicking on random things and then freezes
