Classical Music app crashes on startup

I've been using the Classical app for several months, and although there have been occasional glitches, it's generally been working OK. But today it crashed, and then continues to crash within a few seconds each time I reopen it. I've restarted my phone repeatedly, but the crashes continue. The next step is to delete and then redownload the app, but I'm warned that "Deleting the app will also delete its data". I'm reluctant to lose the library and playlists that I've accumulated, so I'm hoping someone here might be able to suggest another solution. (I also would have hoped that the app data would be saved in iCloud.)
