Shared album

Hi, I recently broke up with my boyfriend and we have shared album. I deleted them from my iPhone a couple days earlier but it still was on my MacBook today. I saw on my MacBook that the one he created was still there. Does that mean that he hasn't deleted it? I saw that he was also still in the album I created. I deleted both of them Is this a iCloud glitch? Or did he just not leave them?
