VPN has totally bricked my macbook

VPN has totally bricked my macbook. After talking to Apple for two days, contacting Nord and trying every possible method of troubleshooting I still cannot get on the Wi-Fi. It shows I’m connected to WiFi but when I try and open a window the blue line starts but just freezes. My iPhone and iPad are working fine on the WiFi. I’m losing my mind because it seems no one has an answer.
