Apple Watch Speaker Sound

My apple watch speaker sounds weird and that happened after I started swimming with it. However, it is a Series 2 watch and it still goes strong with only one charge a day. I wish I can fix the speaker somehow....getting a new watch seems pointless since they all look the same and do the same thing (-cellular).

I won’t go into all the details of what happened every time, but the speakers always stopped working within a week or two of getting the watch back. Thank you to everyone that posted about this issue and potential solutions. I’m disappointed with Apple for not coming up with a permanent fix for this persistent problem or doing a recall. I’m even more disappointed that the four different people I spoke with at the Apple Store were clearly clueless. Maybe I will go back and educate all of them. Now, I just need to carry the brush with me at all times😂

Apple Watch Series 10 speaker volume too low for calls and music I noticed volume of call via watch is too low, almost unable to hear the caller.. (volume is set to max) I tried to play some music via watch to verify if its related to speaker (volume is set to max) - it behaves the same way... I must put watch tide next to ear to be able to hear something... Then I tried steps: hard reset of watch (crown+button) - did not help unpair of watch and then paired as a new ones - did not help I have AW Series 10, 46mm watchOS 11.2 (22S101) installed I don't know when it started to behave like this.. My guess is that problem came with some watchOS update. Question is if there is something wrong with speaker itself and I should claim watch in Store or what to do. I can wait for next OS update and if this will not help then claim in Store.. [Re-Titled by Moderator]

Apple Watch 11.6.1 completely broke Volume Control on my Apple Watch. Recently updated my watch to 11.6.1 as prompted and have run into a continuous issue since then- Volume control is completely irrelevant. My watch has been outputting sound & notifications at maximum volume, regardless what the slider is set to,- even if fully dropped to 0% and showing the mute icon. I have reset my watch & iPhone, both by sliding and by hard resetting via both buttons. I have also re-paired my device to no working solution. This sucks.

You can get it repaired but it would likely cost you $249 (US pricing according to link below). With it being such an old model you would have to ask yourself if it’s worth the price or if that would be better put towards buying a new one.
