Mute button on new Macbook Pro Apple M2

I just bought a Macbook Pro last year and after the last two updates -- I'm on Sonoma 14.2.1 -- the Mute feature keeps going off and on. I've checked my Sound settings, did a reset (Shift + Ctrl + Option + Power) and to no avail.

I'm about to lose my proverbial you-know-what as I have three interviews this week, and I don't want to have to keep turning the volume back on in the middle of a meeting. I've searched this community for answers and I'm getting nothing helpful.

Mojave - mute function button (F10) not working Hello, since I've updated my macbook pro (model A1502) to Mojave 10.14.1 and now my mute button is not properly working. impossible to mute my mic ? Hey There I'm discovering more and more everyday my new iMac and the macOS environment. today I was on teams meeting and I was very surprised that there is not shortcut on the apple keyboard to deactivate the mic...
