Best alternative to Safari
I am on High Sierra as I cannot afford to upgrade and replace some crucial software. Safari (13.1.2) is now too old for many websites and now I have to replace it with something else. What do people suggest?
Ditto what Kurt Lang wrote. Just be advised both Brave and Firefox won't be updated forever, if that hasn't happened already. Their current versions are much newer than Safari 13.1.2, but eventually websites are going to demand even newer browsers.
Whether those demands are technically justified or not is a different subject altogether. Website developers simply don't care about older browsers. They are paid to implement the latest eye-catching, bandwidth-hogging, clickthrough revenue generating features, so there's nothing in it for them.
