DP1.4 to Thunderbolt 4 connection

This is an ongoing issue for ALL MacBook Pros as far back as calendar year 2020. There are 1000s of posts online explaining how their MacBook Pros will NOT connect to any external monitor using Display Port 1.4. I have called Apple Support SEVERAL times and gone to the Genius Bar to no avail. I also received a phone call from someone with the Engineering Team. They took down my information, walked through the issue, reported back, and closed out my issue as resolved. I will not be getting rid of my Mac, but will not allow any family member to purchase an Apple Product as I cannot trust Apple will do right by its customer. At first I thought the issue was to Samsun monitors, but the issue is to ALL monitors that are NOT Apple Studio Displays. I will keep my MacBook Pro for times I will travel, which is twice a year. I will just purchase a Windows Laptop that work flawlessly with my two 49 inch Samsung Odyssey G9 monitors. The current work around is go through DisplayLink, which does not allow me to connect natively to the MacBook Pro.

the data rate for high resolution displays are approaching the limits of switching speeds for digital logic. there is too much sisal decay if your cables are too long.

The USB-C/Thunderbolt section (up to the 'bulge' of the adapter logic) needs to be one meter or shorter. if your cables and not appropriately SHORT they will not work on a Mac.

I just came from the Genius Bar at the Apple Store in my area. They are able to connect to an LG external monitor via DP1.4 to Thunderbolt. I came home and tried on two separate Samsung monitors. The one monitor, that is a 27 inch, worked for about the first 2 minutes. I unplugged it and plugged it back in, and voila...no video. On a separate occurrence about 3 days ago, on my Samsung Odyssey G9 monitor, it was the same thing. It appears that as soon as Apple recognizes the Samsung Monitor, it then locks it out on the next plug in. It would appear to be a might devious on Apples part. I have all but confirmed with certainty, it is a Samsung to Apple thing. That being said, what I said is still true. There are 1000s of posts for users experiencing the same issue.
