iPad printing issue

Printing from my iPad no longer working. The print dialog box shows up and then In need to reselect the printer. Then message "fails to connect to printer" appears and the printer needs to again be selected. Have tried: hard restart on iPad, restarting the printer, forgetting and re-establishing the wifi network, etc. to no avail. Also had the same issue with another iPad which is now working correctly. All other network devices are able to print correctly. ios 17.2 and is current. Help appricated.

Have you already tried to turn off all devices (printer included), reboot your modem-router (waiting for its complete autoconfiguration, which may take some minutes), restart your printer, then restart your iPad and test the printer capabilities?
