Macbook pro m1 pro - Upgrade to Sonoma?

I had a mac book air m1 for the last year and the battery on this device is great !

i still didn't update it to Sonoma and according to what I 'am reading over the internet I 'am not going to do that in the near time lool.

I just got my Macbook Pro m1pro 14" 16gb 512 GB SSD (I didn't got the M2\m3 because of the thing with the SSD).

I don't have Iphone but i love the Mac Os and after 17 years of administrating Microsoft systems, I 'am going to change all my computers at home to Mac OS.

I have one question, people who have MacBook pro M1 Pro, did you upgraded the pc to the last OS?

the battery for my device is worst than on the Mac book air M1, but it's still working on the battery for 8-9 hours (on the mac book air m1 it's even better !).

So, did you upgrade or not? if you do, can you tell what is going on with the battery life? I don't want to reset my mac book after that and install all my things ones again (MS Office, and other apps, and do all the configuration 😫🤮🤮🤮 again).
