Can multiple Final Cut Pro transitions can be inserted all at the same time on a MacBook Pro?

Wondering if multiple Transitions can be inserted all at the same time or does each require individual placement? TIA

Select the clips the timeline, find the transition, double click it.

Or Cmd-T for the default transition.
