Studio Display Firmware Update 17 not showing new zoom, recenter, and manual framing

I'm on Sonoma 14.2.1. Unboxed a brand new Studio Display. Updated the firmware to 17. Verified via the System Report that the Display is running 17. However, I don't see the new zoom, recenter, and manual framing options mentioned in the update notes: What’s new in firmware updates for Apple Studio Display - Apple Support

In FaceTime or Zoom, under the top bar camera icon I still only see Center Stage, Potrait, Studio Light, and Reactions as before.

Turns out it's just bad UX, which is surprising for Apple. I was expecting some new controls in the dropdown from the green top bar camera icon. But, if you hover over the preview image which shows up in that dropdown, the zoom and recenter options appear, and dragging does the panning.
