Do Apple TV units become outdated?
I have two older Apple TV units. Do they become obsolete?

They can still be used as long as they function but do eventually become obsolete in the sense the older hardware can no longer support the latest software or tvOS..New features aren’t supported and ease of use becomes less so. If you ever plan to buy another one, you should always go with the latest model so it lasts longer..
