14" M3 Pro PWM Fatigue

This, along w/ my iPhone 14 Pro BOTH cause severe eye fatigue, dizziness, and dry eye. I've tried turning off ProMotion, True Tone, and using different color presets. Nothing has alleviated this. Please someone implement DC Dimming, or something to reduce flicker fatigue. Or if anyone has any solutions that they've found (besides an external monitor) please, I'm open to suggestions. If there isn't a fix, then I'm essentially stuck with the Mac Mini's or Studios, whenever those release.

The only 'solution' I have come across is to set the screen brightness at maximum. (PWM varies with brightness and at max brightness PWM is 0.) If max is too bright you could adjust the white point down a bit using the built-in Display Calibrator Assistant to give the appearance of a dimmer screen.

PWM is real and nearly all displays currently use it, so an external display with a mini or Studio is not likely to be any different unless it's a true Flicker Free display or an LCD screen without PWM (you would have to check the specs).

Even so, I do suggest seeing your physician & opthalmologist to have them evaluate your symptoms.
