2021 Macbook Pro M1 Hardware Failure and Kernel Panic

First week of January I woke up and my 2021 14” MBP M1 had a black screen, mag charger worked, USBC did not work, I could hear a restart sound. The OS was 14.2.1 and it seemed to go offline at 10:14 pm when I was not on it and it was plugged into a powered USBC Hub by Anker. The computer was in pristine condition and had never crashed.

Apple sent it for repair ($800 = 2 months past warranty). It came back with a new logic board, display screen, and lid sensor. I know nothing about why the computer failed.

When I got it back from repair, it started to crash every 10 min. Kernel Panics. Never had this happened before. The repair place had reinstalled 14.2.1 and I had installed Chrome, Slack and Zoom and then it started crashing. Took it back to Apple Store and they did a clean install of 14.2.1. Took it home and the same thing happened again. It was never restored from a backup. Took it back to Apple Store and now waiting for them to test it more.

Used EtreCheckPro and got this info before leaving it with Apple again. Based on these kernel panics - does it seem to be another hardware failure?

Those kernel panics certainly look ugly.

Do you have the complete Etrecheck report? if you do, please copy the report to the system clipboard, start a reply, and use the Additional text Icon in the reply footer to obtain a window in which to PASTE the entire report.

If you talk to Apple support, let them know you have that kernel panic report pasted at the beginning of this EtreCheck report. They can read stuff posted here if you give them a hint, and that can save you trying to upload it to them.

T6000 is a reference to the core system-on-a-chip processor. I am not certain exactly what that kernel panic indicates, but the extensions at the scene of the crime are all really fundamental Hardware drivers, leading me to believe the issue is Hardware-related.

also, you do not have any known Bad Actors loaded, which supports the idea of a hardware issue.

However, Readers here are NOT Apple employees, and do not speak for Apple, and Apple is the final arbiter.

Yes thanks again for your comments. I did tell the Apple support person but they were more focused on the "TrustedPeersHelper" crashes but in the end did agree with me that it is prob hardware related. But they still were going to test it more in the store before sending it out again. After all of this, I am super paranoid about using USBC hubs. And I am thankful for my trusty 2014 Macbook Pro (albeit with a horrible battery) while I wait for my M1 repair.
