Can I use my checkbook instead of my card for Apple Pay?

My Apple Pay has been hacked twice this month. I want to use my checking account

Apple Pay cannot be hacked. Its a payment conduit. It holds no information regarding your cards or numbers. It holds an encrypted package that only contains the device account number and only your bank or card issuer can access said package. It does not contain your card numbers or other personally identifiable information to be hacked.


No, you cannot use a bank account with Apple Pay. Apple Pay uses credit and debit cards for payment.


Your Apple ID payment methods used for the iTunes & App Stores have nothing to do with Apple Pay.
