Location problem

Hey there, I bought a new 14 plus iPhone on October 2023. It was good for about one month then it started giving a wrong location of mine: I live in Jordan and it keeps showing my location is in Cairo or Lebanon , I never been there.

i tried turning off location service , it relocate my location then couple of days I faced the same problem

it happened several times , last was today, and it’s getting very annoying I can’t even use maps because my location is wrong

Hey there, it sounds like you're experiencing a frustrating situation with your iPhone's GPS. Due to the ongoing conflict between Israel and Hamas, GPS signals in the region might be affected. It's possible that the IDF has implemented GPS jamming measures, redirecting signals to Lebanon Beirut Airport. Hopefully, once tensions ease and Hezbollah and Hamas are no longer active, GPS signals will return to normal. Hang in there!

I have opened a ticket to Apple (via Apple Support App), unfortunately, we had to reproduce the issue to collect logs, and it is very intermittent and not easily reproduced (I have a Profile installed that prevents log collection).

This issue is also affecting my optimized charging, as optimized charging relies on "significant location" data, which showed that I was in Cairo for a few minutes yesterday.

I have reported the community posts, but that hasn't been very helpful, as they request us to open tickets so they can collect logs/related the ticket.

Additionally, I contacted Internet Service Providers in Jordan (Orange and Zain), but that didn't help either.
