The support article you came here from should provide you with the steps needed to try to resolve this issue. Have you tried them all yet? If so, and they didn't help, I suggest that you contact Apple Support directly. Here are some potential reasons you are not seeing the "Mark as Lost" option in the Find My app for these AirPods:

  • Your AirPods must be associated with your iCloud account. This would occur when they are paired with your iPhone that is signed in with the same Apple ID as the one used for Find My. If they are not connected, you won't see the "Mark as Lost" feature.
  • Your AirPods are not running the latest firmware.

To attempt to find lost AirPods, the following must be true:

  • Find My iPhone must have been enabled BEFORE they were lost.
  • The AirPods are within range of your devices (iOS or macOS). Alternatively, they would need to be near any Apple device that the user has enabled "Find My Network" on.
  • They are not in their charging case.
  • They are still charged.
  • The AirPods have not been reset.
