On the U.S store front as shown in your screen shot.
if your Apple ID is set to a different country than the US, you cannot redeem the gift card onto your account.
Check Settings ➡️ Apple ID ➡️ Media & Purchases ➡️ View Account to verify your Apple ID’s Country.
