iwatch electric shock

I was just sitting eating my dinner and got an electric shock from my wrist through my hand which must have been from my iwatch. It was painful. I took the watch off immediately. It hasn’t happened again. My husband was sitting opposite me and said that the watch was lit up and making some sort of pattern on it! Has this happened to anyone else?
