Apple TV subscription

I’ve been paying $9.99 a month for an Apple TV subscription that I didn’t realize I had. How do I watch Apple TV on my actual tv and not on my iPhone.

If you have a compatible smart TV, streaming device, cable or satellite TV box or games console, you can download the Apple TV app or TV+ App onto it and log in with the Apple ID that holds the subscription and watch anything there with the TV+ logo on the image.

You will need to contact Amazon support for help with updating your Fire TV in that case.

If the software on your model of TV cannot be updated further, then it may not be possible to run the Apple TV app on your TV.

Thank you for your support however after I click on the apple tv icon it states that I need to install the latest Fire TV software version in settings. I did that, turned off my tv and powered up again and it still is saying to update software version.
