Chrome crashes Mac daily

I continue to have issues with Chrome (about ready to find a new browser in fact) -- on almost a daily basis, I will be doing work in Chrome and the system will halt, crash, and then display the logging screen. This ongoing issue in conjunction with other issues related to the more recent releases of chrome that exhibit buggy behavior ... so any ideas here ....

Google Chrome Crashing (Spinning Beach Ball) on MacBook Pro M1 Pro 14 Google Chrome is crashing on me every time I launch it, within 5-10 seconds I am faced with the dreaded spinning beach ball. I am using a 14-inch 2021 MacBook Pro, with the M1 Pro chip and 16GB of RAM - so I should not be seeing these types of issues. I need to use Chrome for work purposes, as I need to use some particular extensions that are not available on Safari. I have tried everything I can think of in terms of troubleshooting (i.e., uninstalling and reinstalling, clearing app data and cache, using CleanMyMac X to check for any malware, etc.). I have been using Chrome for years, with zero issues. Can anyone help?

I would recommend uninstalling Chrome and switching to Safari, Firefox or Brave brower.
