iOS 17.2.1 ruined my email use

I have an iPhone 13. I have one Outlook account on my computer Windows 10 and three Gmail accounts on the same computer. I placed only one Gmail app on my iPhone and put only one Gmail account on it. It all worked great since Day One. When an email would arrive to the one Gmail account I have placed on my iPhone, it would shift instantly to my computer when the computer was opened up. (Do not have it constantly running.) After the update to iOS 17.2.1 (which I tried to avoid but couldn't), the Gmail that arrives to my iPhone will not shift to my computer at all. In fact, even clicking on "Send/Receive" on the computer, which always brought emails immediately to it, will not bring any email from the Gmail account on the iPhone. It indicates Progress is Processing... but it never Synchronizes the Subscribed Folder... leaving the email on the iPhone. It will also not allow me to send any emails from that Gmail account.

I have spent the entire day attempting to find information that would help me make it work again. I tried a couple of different things that seemed to be relatively similar... but they did not fix it. I do not know what else to do. I am currently unable to handle my business issues from my computer since the emails will not get there. I cannot send an email from my computer either.

If there is anything at all that could potentially resolve this issue, I would be more than appreciative. If not... I will have to find another product to let me do my business along with my personal items. I don't have any idea what else to try nor can I find anything online that seems similar to my issue.

These don't sync between devices Contacts, Calendars, Bookmarks, Notes, Voice Memosshared photosiCloud Photos, and emails. Each device syncs to the email account server which may be Google, iCloud, AOL, Exchange, Outlook, Yahoo, or any Other. Please see the pic below.

For Audiobooks, iMovie Project, and Apple Podcast log in with the same Apple ID as used in your Mac

If one of the devices is not connected to the internet then it may seem to you that they are not syncing.

iOS updates generally aim to enhance user experience, boost security, and fix bugs rather than disrupt core features. Gmail issues after updates might stem from underlying, unmentioned factors. Updates won't typically alter personal data but may refine settings or features. Backup before major updates for safety. Review Apple's update details and backup advice for a smooth process.

This seems purely coincidental so please check the Setting on your device.

See what each update does: About iOS 17 Updates, About iOS 16 Updates, About iOS 15 Updates, About iOS 14 Updates, About iOS 13 Updates, About iOS 12 Updates, and so on...

Mobile brand/model selection is an individual choice based on many parameters. Such as Money, Feature, Status, Aesthetic, Utility, User-Friendliness, Availability, Warranty Coverage, Service Support, Resale value, Technology and many other factors. Choose yours judiciously!
