Unlock password on iPad

I’m on my iPhone 11 , I have a MacBook Air and an iPad.

the iPad has been locked for a couple of years, because I forgot the password that I set up when I configured my iPad. I am aware that I can reset the password, but I need to sign in with Apple ID, which I know… I’m then supposed to enter the password for Apple ID. But, I don’t know 🤷🏻‍♀️ the password.. Help please! And thank you!
