The globe showing foreign language
When pressing the globe I get what looks like a foreign language whereas I am expecting emoji.
my settings show just English language. The iPad is a iPad 2021 and bought new recently

Go to Settings>General>Keyboard>Keyboards. Tap the "Edit" button to remove any languages you don't want. Then, tap on "Add Keyboard" and add the emoji keyboard.
