I want to donate a few old iphones. How do I delete my data on them without affecting my current iphone?

I have an iPhone 5c and an iPhone 7... my current phone is an iPhone SE (2nd)

Deleting data old iphone I want to donate an old iphone to a charity. I have followed instructions and have erased all contents and settings and removed from the list of trusted devices. My question is do I need to do anything to the SIM card? Do I just leave it in the old phone?? Thanks in advance for all replies.
