iPad iOS 17 camera no portrait option

Just now I discovered a new camera feature that zooms out in selfie mode and I was doing research on when the update came out since I had never seen it before and have had the iPad for a year and a half, and found a website from 2021 about new features. I didn’t find the topic I was looking for, even in Apple help (as you can see), and saw an interesting feature for the portrait mode. I had seen the mode in camera before but had never used it because I didn’t know what it was for, but when I opened the camera app, it was gone. I had done some research, and did not find an answer. Help?
