Icons on desktop changing
All of a sudden the icons do not show the picture on the desktop so I don't know what the screenshot looks like. Why would this happen?

Sometimes weirdness just happens. 🤷🏽♂️
Click any vacant spot on the Desktop, then press Command-J (⌘J). This will invoke the Desktop's View Options.
Ensure that "Show icon preview" is check marked.
Close the View Options window by clicking the red stop light in the top left corner or by pressing ⌘J again.
