Homebrew vs Macports

After installing homebrew, I had to install Macports in order to install a specific application, whose source code had to be corrected to work in mac OS sonoma. But later on, these two package managers started conflicting, causing a headache. After much browsing and confusion, I decided to remove homebrew and keep macports.

After uninstalling the homebrew, I'm unable to use macports or reinstall brew.

When I use macports, it asks for a curl library from homebrew, and when I reinstalled homebrew, it asked for libiconv.2.

Below are the terminal logs for these commands.

Please note, I have already removed all paths from ~/.zshrc.

Thanks in advance.

with regards,
