You can't update an iPhone 5s, an 11 year old iPhone to iOS 15. It is simply too old, is no longer supported and lacks the hardware required to be updated past iOS 12.5.7

If you need a higher version iOS, at this point your ONLY solution is to retire you now ancient iPhone and buy a newer, more modern iPhone.

Unfortunately, that is not possible.

That model can be updated to iOS 12.5.7, no further.

Hello~ See above as *lobsterghost1* has already pointed out that the iPhone 5s can only be updated to iOS 12.5.7. No…you can’t run apps that require iOS 13 or above. You need a newer iPhone.

To update to iOS 15, you would need at minimum an iPhone 7

An iPhone 8 can update to iOS 16

iPhone XR, XS and higher models can update to iOS 17

I provided the highest level iOS version you can run on an iPhone 5s above. It is iOS 12.5.7
