EndNote and Pages

I downloaded Endnote 3.3 from the Apple website, and cannot find it on my Mac, even searching through Finder. It also does not highlight in Pages.

iPhone 12, iOS 15

You did not download EndNote. You downloaded the Apple EndNote plug-in v3.3 that is used in concert with the real paid EndNote application. You would launch EndNote before launching Pages and the plug-in should activate the Insert menu's EndNote Citation menu item that is normally grayed out without EndNote installed.

Review: Add citations to your Pages document with the EndNote plug-in - Apple Support

This EndNote plug-in was designed to be used with a really old version of EndNote and there won't be any support for it if using it with Clarivate's EndNote v21.

When you install the Pages EndNote v3.3 plug-in, it is installed into:

/Library/Application Support/ResearchSoft
