Wifi on iPhone X only works with home router. Can't connect to xfinitywifi either unless close to router.

My phone interest network was working fine until it fell (didn’t break).

no internet network shows unless the iPhone is close to the router

iPhone 16 Wi-Fi drops frequently Recently purchased a new iPhone 16 from Xfinity (on latest IOS) and have persistent issues with staying connected to WiFi. My phone will connect fine but if I move slightly further from the router it will lose the connection. If I try to reconnect, I get an “Unable to Connect to WiFi”, but if I then delete the network from known networks, it reconnects just fine. Have tried a number of steps to resolve (reboot router, new router) and nothing fixes problem. My iPhone 12 abruptly stopped connecting to WiFi. Other devices still work on the same network The title pretty much says it all. Everything else still works the same but my iPhone 12 will not connect to Wi-Fi at home or an Xfinity or anywhere else. It works with making calls and sending and receiving texts.

Cannot Connect to Wifi on my Iphone or Macbook Pro Since Updating 12/12/25 Since the latest update that I performed on Friday, I have not been able to connect to my wifi. Everything else in the house connects except my Macbook and my iphone. I've toggled on and off. I've forgot network. I've did a hard reset on my phone. I've performed all the steps I've found. I even tried to remove the latest update, but the ability is not available on either of the devices. At first I thought it was my router - our Internet is through my apartment complex, but that is not it. Also, it shows the Wifi is connected on both devices, but I am still getting This Site Can't Be Reached on my Mac and the Internet does not load at all on my phone.

Sounds like the fall knocked the internal Wi-Fi antenna connection loose.

Head to the Apple Store or an authorized Apple service shop.
