iPhone spontaneously copies and pastes my typing

Recently, my iPhone has been spontaneously and randomly copying and pasting something I’ve already typed and placing it in a totally separate paragraph, sometimes overwriting other text. It happens on all my apps—text messages, social media, notes, emails. It’s VERY frustrating—especially when it overwrites half an email I just struggled to compose.

Is this happening to anyone else? I was hoping the latest update would fix it, but it didn’t. Please help!

To start, try checking if there is a new update available for your iPhone: Update your iPhone or iPad - Apple Support If there is, try updating your device.

This issue could also be caused by damage to you iPhone's screen, so if the previous step didn't work, you may want to consider getting your iPhone repaired at an Apple Store or an Apple Authorised Service Provider:https://getsupport.apple.com/?caller=pspprm&SG=SG003
