Cannot move icons on Ipad 17.2

I can’t rearrange icons on my Ipad. I have restarted the Ipad, I have reset the Ipad, I have done everything. When I try to move the icon it just pops back to where it was previously located. Sometimes if I open the app I want to move so it then appears on my task bar below (or whatever it’s called), I can move it but not always and not often.

Why do my iPad icons keep rearranging after iPadOS 18? As soon as I updated my iPad to iOS 18, I took advantage of being able to place the icons anywhere. But for some reason, if I shut it down and turn it back on, the apps are rearranged. This happens sometimes overnight as well. Home screen icons reset to top after rearrangement in iOS 18.2.1 Do you have this problem when you change the icons’ locations in the Home Screen but when you download a new app and want to drag it somewhere once you move it all the other icons go back at top again? Stuck on large app icons iPad Pro 3rd gen After I upgraded to iPadOS 18, I switched on large app icons for a while. After deciding I didn't like it, I went to settings to switch back to regular size icons, but to my dismay flipping the switch does not change the icons back to normal size anymore. I've tried everything I can think of (flip the switch to large, restart iPad, flip back to normal; update to the latest version (which I have done like 3 times by now); remove all widgets (which was suggested here); wipe the iPad and restore from backup) but absolutely nothing works. I can't really find anyone with the same problem online either, so I'm at a loss...
