Echo using car play (apple phone)

Help - every time using car olay there is a terrible echo for the person I am speaking to. Just started with our new car (Genesis). Does not do it off CarPlay

The fix is in! Today a software update came through on my 2023 G80 and it fixed the echo issue while plugged in to CarPlay. All good!

It seems this is a problem with genesis new update. It made the mic more sensitive on car play. I have a genesis too with the same problem. If you set the volume to 20 it fixes the echo but it is very quiet

The only thing I have found to work is setting your CarPlay speaker volume to 20. It will minimize the echo. Otherwise it looks like a genesis fix that’s a known issue and no fix available
